The Concrete Mix application comprises five distinct modules, each designed to facilitate various aspects of concrete estimation and mix design.

• Estimator:

  This module enhances accuracy in determining the proportions of concrete components, specifically cement, sand, and aggregate. Key features include:

  • The ability to save mix ratios for multiple sites with a one-click insertion feature.
  • Access to three previous results from the database for reference.
  • Customizable shrinkage and wastage factors to optimize output.
• Mix Design:

  Grounded in the guidelines of IS 10262:2009, this module incorporates advanced capabilities such as the inclusion of mineral admixtures like fly ash in the design mix calculations.

• Nominal Mix:

  This module allows users to obtain proportions directly without requiring detailed mix design when the desired concrete strength is below 20 MPa, adhering to IS 456:2000, clause 9.3.

• Weight Volume Converter:

  To facilitate accurate conversions between weight and volume ratios, this module is essential when mix design test results are presented in weight quantities.

• Brick Calculator:

  This module simplifies the calculation of brick quantities needed for construction projects. Additionally, it assists in determining the amount of mortar required for brickwork.
